The College
TCC is the sixth largest college or university in Texas.
1 in 19 Tarrant County residents takes a class at TCC each year. These 85,000+ students include:
- Traditional students
- Adult students
- Children practicing in summer enrichment
- Early high school students
- Senior citizens
1 in 5 students graduating from Tarrant County public high schools will attend TCC the following fall.
90% of TCC students continue to live and work in our community and are actively contributing to the area’s economy 10 years after completing their college courses.
Four campus sites are conveniently located throughout Tarrant County for students’ easy access; a 5th campus will open in downtown Fort Worth in the fall of 2009.
The Programs
Courses in general education are offered for those interested in transferring to a four-year institution, career and workforce development, developmental education and personal enrichment.
Training is offered in 64 of 68 vital occupations, as identified by the Tarrant County Workforce Development Board.
Customized professional developmental and training programs are available for credit, non-credit and continuing education for regional employers.
A Small Business Development Center, operated by TCC, provides small business owners practical assistance and solutions to help them survive, grow and prosper.
